I’ve been wanting to start this space for a long time. After years of designing icons for interfaces used by millions of people and drawing more than 10,000 of them, I realized that most of my career has been spent communicating without words. Icons became my primary language. A way to explain, simplify, clarify, and guide, often in just a few pixels.
Icons are not just what I design. They are how I think. I naturally look for the simplest shape that can carry an idea, the smallest visual decision that can change how something feels or works. Over time, this way of thinking started to shape how I see the world beyond screens, from everyday objects to quiet moments where a symbol says more than a sentence ever could.
This blog is a place to put those thoughts somewhere visible. To translate years of drawing into writing. To move ideas from grids and vectors onto paper, or at least into words. Here I’ll share stories, experiments, and reflections on iconography, design, and the subtle power of simple shapes.
I’m really glad you’re here.
